Here are some drawings from the project i have had to do over summer: Choose a short story from the Penguin Modern Classics and produce observational drawings of objects/people/places related to it. I am pretty bad at drawing from life, especially on location and quickly. But after doing it ALLDAY EVERYDAY FOR A WEEK I think I'm at least more used to it. The story is nice, simple.'A Tree, a Rock, a Cloud' by Carson McCullers. Its about a paper boy meeting a man in an all night cafe. The man tells him he loves him and then proceeds to explain his science for love, how he can love anything. He trains himself to love inanimate objects that cannot hurt him, after his wife left him. Its pretty deep.
